Chez nous
with Sébastien Worsnip, Zoe Worsnip and Sol Echenberg Worsnip
After I cut four large squares from a roll of paper, my husband and two children joined me, each of us folding, unfolding, cutting and stapling one of the squares into our own house. With the individual houses placed over our heads, we performed several actions: Sol crouched to sitting position so that they disappeared inside of their house; I lit several cigarettes, burnt a “chimney” hole in the roof, sprayed water from the inside and then wrapped the water soaked paper around me; Zoe built several small paper houses that accumulated at her feet; Sebastien painted the inside of the his house black.
